Cast iron post by the A61, in parish of KILLINGHALL (HARROGATE District), Ripon Road; Southern end of Killinghall, by village sign, on East side of road. Ingram iron casting, erected by the Harrogate, Hutton Moor & Ripon turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HARROGATE / 2 / {hand->} : : LEEDS / 17 : : RIPON / 9 / {<-hand} : Maker:- : J INGRAM / MAKER / RIPON : Grade II listed.
