So named on the 1850 six-inch map, although the name has not appeared on later editions. It is Brighouse Footpath 59, and part of the Brighouse Boundary Walk, which was originally created in 1993 to celebrate the centenary of the former Borough of Brighouse and re-launched in 2001.

Brighouse Sports Club
Home to Brighouse Cricket Club, who play in the Bradford League, & Brighouse Rangers ARLFC who play in the Pennine Amateur Rugby League Division 2. The picture shows the Cricket Team warming up for their match against Great Horton, due to start about 30 minutes later.
