So named on the 1850 six-inch map, although the name has not appeared on later editions. It is Brighouse Footpath 59, and part of the Brighouse Boundary Walk, which was originally created in 1993 to celebrate the centenary of the former Borough of Brighouse and re-launched in 2001.
