Car Park for Wellholme Park, Clifton
The main carpark is off Bradford Road, but here off Thornhills Beck Lane, near to the ford, there is a more informal car park and a picnic site. On the Clifton side of the beck the park extends from here 600m to Oak Hill Road, and includes the wooded hillside on the left and the equally wooded disused railway.

This is an update for Image] taken in 2005. The roadway across the ford has now been surfaced with ribbed concrete, although motorists have to beware of stones washed down the stream after heavy rain. The other change is that windows have been inserted into the wall of the building in the middle ground.
