The main carpark is off Bradford Road, but here off Thornhills Beck Lane, near to the ford, there is a more informal car park and a picnic site. On the Clifton side of the beck the park extends from here 600m to Oak Hill Road, and includes the wooded hillside on the left and the equally wooded disused railway.
