Lodge at corner of Blackmoorfoot Road and Park Road West , North Crosland, Lockwood
Not a toll-house, but it seems that this was the lodge for a large house called Crosland Lodge. Moorside Avenue was built in its grounds.

Wall and lions, Manchester Road, North Crosland, Lockwood township (Huddersfield)
The enormous retaining wall covers a quarry face. The building on top is near to where Crosland Lodge is marked on the 1850 6in map. I shall go and have a look next time! It was the four large lions that caught my eye. There was a long line of terrace houses at the foot of the quarry.
