Sad end to a Stately Home
This is Milnsbridge House and was occupied by Joseph Radcliffe in 1795 when at the time of the Luddite Uprising he was the local Magistrate and played a major part in quelling the uprising for which he received a Baronetcy,the House is now occupied in part by an engineering firm

Milnsbridge House, Huddersfield
Its forlorn state lent it an air of faded grandeur. Pediments abound, which strongly suggests the hand of architect James Paine who had a penchant for them. It was built c1750 for William Radcliffe. Grade II* listed.
I'm not sure its condition has improved since the photo was taken, but even so it might have been in use as a storage facility.
