When building work started on the site of the old Methodist chapel, I thought that it was being rebuilt so that their present chapel in the Sunday School building over the road could be sold off for conversion to houses. However I was mistaken!

This chapel looks rather like a school. In fact it probably was, as the chapel was on the other side of the road, in what is now just the graveyard, up to the mid-20C.
