Bridge over the M1 on Brockley Hill
This bridge marks two boundaries. The M1 marks the start of Elstree, while the white lines in the middle of the road is the London Borough of Harrow on the left and Barnet on the right, as the south part of Elstree is in Greater London.

Stanmore: RNOH emblem on gates
This is on the main gate to the hospital, and shows us that it was for "the cure of crippled children" – reminding us that the term "orthopaedics" originally referred specifically to children's bones ("ortho" = bones, "paed" = children [as in paediatrics]); the term now refers to bones of all ages!
