Metropolitan Line, Moor Park Station

Steam train approaching Moor Park
Ex Great Western Railway 0-6-0PT No. 9466 approaches Moor Park station with a 'Steam on the Met' working. The loco is hauling the Mid Hants Railway support coach which was used in conjunction with their engine, U class No. 31625, which was working today. The support coach carries spares and provides accommodation for the loco owner's support crew who are responsible for servicing their locomotive when away from its home base.
