Chestnut Avenue
This avenue is, surprisingly, actually lined with Horse Chestnut trees along its length. It leads from the A404 Pinner Road to the entrance to Northwood Cemetery, the entrance to which is out of shot on the right. It also provides access to the allotments, recreation ground and Northwood FC's football ground.

Northwood FC
FA Cup Qualifying Round 1 match in progress between Northwood FC and Wingate & Finchley FC. Behind is the Northwood main stand. On the right is an old cabin that serves the teas and pies that are traditional fare during the match. On the extreme right is the entrance. Both sets of fans use the same gate, which is the norm in this level of football. For those wishing to play spot-the-ball, it's behind the two players to the left of centre - you can see its shadow.

Field alongside Northwood Football Club
Haste Hill is part of an open space to the west of Northwood Hills and would be one of the hills after which Northwood Hills is named - see also https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5667907 It slopes down to the west to Haste Hill Golf Course and to the south-west to Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve. Most of the paths are fairly informal although there is one good path which crosses the top of the hill but then as it reaches the bottom of the northern slope it peters out into what at the time I visited was this very muddy field. The ground of Northwood Football Club is just the other side of the fieldedge on the left.
