The Queen's Head, Pinner
Although very much a London suburb, Pinner retains something of the atmosphere of a country town. Nowhere is this more true than on the High Street, the highlight of which is undoubtedly this ancient inn, now part of the Greene King estate. It is known that there has been an inn on the site since at least 1540 and the building's cellars are 12th century. It was known as the Crown until 1715 when it acquired its present name apparently because Queen Anne used to change horses here when riding between Hatfield and London. It was named as the Harrow CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) pub of the year in 2012 and 2015.

Pinner: The Church of St John the Baptist
Pevsner somewhat unfairly described this as "one more of all the round typical minor Middlesex churches". However the tower is a prominent landmark, the dormer-type windows in the roof are unusual, and it has a fine lych gate. Built of flint with freestone and ironstone dressings, the church dates largely from the early 14th century. The Church tower is visible at the top of the High Street in Image The Church's website is here http://www.pinnerparishchurch.org.uk/
