Hatch End railway station
The West Coast Main Line through Hatch End railway station viewed looking north westwards from the A410 Uxbridge Road bridge. The station is only served by suburban stopping trains now, using the tracks to the far left, but the derelict platforms indicate that the station was once much larger.

Hatch End Station
Hatch End Station is approached along this drive leading off Uxbridge Road. There is room for car parking spaces, but most were onoccupied in this Saturday morning view. The ornate booking hall was built in 1911 to a design by Gerald C Horsley.

Hatch End Station - booking hall detail
Hatch End may have been no more than a mundane outer suburban station, but the London & North Western Railway spared no effort when it was rebuilt in 1911. The booking hall was designed by Gerald C Horsley and he incorporated this intricate design on the front of the building.
