Signal-box at Ruislip station
I hadn't been to Ruislip by train before, and it came as quite a surprise to find that this signal-box had survived on the Underground system.
Since Wayland Smith was here in 2011 https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6774303 the little building has been thoroughly renovated - no doubt for the celebrations of the Metropolitan Railway's 150th anniversary in 2013. It now has stairs once again, and it has been repainted in (what I take to be) the colours of its original owners.
One detail I notice is that the white-painted panels are made up of slats placed diagonally - a minor detail, indeed, but a useful clue as to the origin of certain fixtures at Turnham Green . . . https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7166803
