Looking southwards down Kenton Lane, with the Library on the right. The RLH-class bus is on route 230 from Northwick Park station to Rayners Lane, but there's very little other traffic in this 1955 view.

Kingshill Avenue bus stop

Christchurch Avenue, Harrow
The house on the left was totally rebuilt in 2009, while where the garden is now housed a bungalow which was demolished. You can see the new foundations going in for something else.

Pre-Worboys No Entry, Kenton
At the exit to Kenton Library on Christchurch Road, since the two went from Pinewood Studios the only other one I know of is in Cornwall. Since the determined removals of these by councils these only remain on private roads nowadays.

Repainted no entry sign by Kenton Library
I saw the existing state of the sign taken here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1282069 and offered to repaint it, they were only too pleased. This is the result afterwards, it took around three hours and was one of the hottest days of the year so nice and warm while busy.
