Kenton: The 'Traveller's Rest'
Large and popular public house on Kenton Road, just opposite the station. Rump steak and chips is advertised at a very moderate price - also a slimmers' club meets there! The former name of this house was just the 'Rest'.

Kenton Station
Kenton station has a very good service of trains: towards London, London Overground runs to Euston and the Underground (Bakerloo Line) to Elephant and Castle; while northbound, the Overground reaches Watford Junction, while the Underground just goes to Harrow and Wealdstone.

Kenton Road: bridge over the West Coast Main Line
The roof of Kenton station's humble booking hall is just visible beyond the far end of the bridge parapet on the left. The two taller buildings either side of the bridge, a crescent of offices and a tower of flats, have transformed the scene here.
