Old Milestone by the A410, in front of No. 208 Uxbridge Road
Carved stone post by the A410, in parish of HARROW (HARROW District), East of the A4008 junction, in concrete, back to brick wall in front of No. 208 Uxbridge Road, on North side of road. Erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century.

Part of a large council estate I think was originally for military personnel for the nearby bases along Uxbridge Road, which have now been demolished for more housing.

Houses on Courtenay Avenue
The front face of an estate of similar houses, most boarded horizontally in plastic now, but a few still with the style as the second from the right, looking like power station boiler insulation cleading. This might have been the style on all of the houses when new.
