Harrow & Wealdstone station, "Wealdstone" entrance
This station was opened by the London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR) as Harrow on 20 July 1837 in what was then rural Middlesex. The initials of the London & North Western Railway (successor to the L&BR) can be seen carved in stone above the doors
