Merrow House
Merrow's "Big House" is a very plain and "boxy" three storey brick building. It dates from 1802, was a home to the Thrupp family for many years, became an old folks home 1949-78 before being converted into old people's flats in 1984.

Old Merrow Street, Merrow.
This is the old street through the village. It is now a cul-de-sac for road traffic and many of the old cottages have modern houses built beside them. Merrow is now a suburb of Guildford and this road has been superseded by the busy Park Lane to the east.
