Rackstraw Farm
The former farm named after a previous owner on Yorktown Road in Sandhurst. The property ceased to be a farm in about 1970 and was then converted to a restaurant. It is currently owned by the Beefeater chain.

Rackstraw Farm Beefeater
Rackstraw Farm Beefeater (seemingly incorrectly listed on Historic England as "Rackshaw" Farmhouse - not aware of that alternate name). Originally a farmhouse of the late 16th century, altered and extended since. Now a Beefeater restaurant and bar, next to the Premier Inn on the same site.
The building is Grade II listed, list entry number 1390388 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1390388

Traffic light camera at Rackstraw crossroads
A traffic light camera at Rackstraw crossroads, to catch and fine those running red lights. There are cameras on the north and south roads (Marshall Road and Rackstraw Road), initially installed as these roads were 60mph limits (now 50mph) and many accidents occurred with people not being able to brake in time for quickly changing lights and crashing into crossing traffic.
Those travelling north to south from Rackstraw Road to Marshall Road travelling at or above the speed limit can 'take off' mid crossroads as a ridge in the road acts as a ramp, giving a little air.
