Watercress Line Cutting
This cutting is on the 1 in 60 gradient from Alton to Four Marks. It has been known to almost bring a train to a stand from slipping on the wet rails. The railway men know this area as 'the Alps'

Charters Peugeot Garage, Winchester Road

Badger's End on the A31 at Four Marks
I suppose this little badger failed to make it across the very busy main road. I saw no sign of injury but hopefully he was killed outright rather than suffering a lingering death through the night.
