Alton: postbox № GU34 96, Paper Mill Lane
This Elizabeth II-reign postbox has been painted gold in honour of Peter Charles's Olympic gold medal - however, it was later realised that he was actually from nearby village of Bentworth, so he had a second box painted (see Image).

"Lord Nelson" View, Alton, Hampshire

Alton King's Pond Gauging Station
Site I.D. 3012 with a more precise grid reference than most people can arrive at. SU72353952. King's Pond takes its name from a William King who had a water mill built here on the River Wey.
