Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of ALTON (EAST HAMPSHIRE District), Butts Bridge, South West edge of roundabout, on West side of road. Tasker block, erected by the Winchester & Alton, Lower District turnpike trust in the 19th century.
