St Mary's was built in 1892/4 to serve new parts of the parish that had arisen since the coming of the railway in 1859. The pre-existing 13th C church of St Peters is in West Liss.

The Triangle centre, Liss.
This is the home of the Liss Community Association, formed in 1996 to establish a community centre in the old Liss Infant School.
The Triangle Centre has become a vital part of the village providing many necessary services to the village, including an After School Club, Coffee Bar, Art Gallery to promote local artists and social events.
