The Pub with no name?
The pub sign on this crossroads is for the White Horse which is along the side road to the left. The pub sign post has not had a sign for many years and thus the pub is more commonly known as "The Pub With No Name". There are various theories why it doesn't have a sign, including stories of a Gypsy's curse, personally I reckon the pub does enough trade due to its excellent reputation and so doesn't need to advertise for passing trade. It's also the highest pub in Hampshire.
