Holy Trinity, Guildford
This 18th Century brick church in Guildford High Street is used for the Borough's official services. It performed the function of cathedral until the present Guildford Cathedral on Stag Hill was opened.

The Royal Oak (1), 15 Trinity Churchyard
This is actually the back of the pub, which is adjacent to Sydenham Road. The beer garden and sign are here. The front of the pub fronts onto a narrow passageway, which runs by the side of Holy Trinity Church's churchyard.

The Royal Oak (2) - sign, 15 Trinity Churchyard
The pub's sign is mounted on top of a post, in the beer garden, adjacent to Sydenham Road.
The sign depicts King Charles II, who hid in an oak tree when hiding from Oliver Cromwell's army. There are many pubs with this name, and indeed in the Guildford area there is another at Oak Hill, Wood Street Village.
