Chipping Campden Baptist Church
Chipping Campden Baptist Church on High Street is over 300 years old but the present building was built in 1872 by T. T. Allen. The somewhat plain exterior carries a surprisingly ornate biblical inscription over the doorway.

High Street, Chipping Campden
I just love the way that no two houses are the same in this street. These caught my eye, in particular. There seems to have been a small problem in this part of the street. Hollyhocks had self seeded outside these houses this Summer, and had become a health and safety problem - please! House owners had to campaign to stop the council spraying them with pesticide. Good grief. Whatever next?
I bet they looked terrific. I bet there were things an awful lot worse in the street a few hundred years ago!
