Woolstone Church
Woolstone church is dedicated to St Martin. The tower inclines slightly but this was stabilised in 1970 with concrete piles driven into the ground.

Woolstone church
Woolstone church is dedicated to St Martin de Tours. This church dating from the 14th/15th centuries was restored in 1873 by John Middleton during the time Gilbert George Coventry was vicar. He was related to the earls of Coventry of Croome Court in Worcestershire. There is a strong link with the earls of Coventry as their estate owned land in the parish of Woolstone. The manor of Woolstone is said to have been bought from Sir William Throckmorton in 1630 by Thomas Coventry, Lord Coventry. As recently as 1964 the Croome Estate Trust still owned land in Woolstone.

Stained glass window, Woolstone church
This east window in Woolstone church is a memorial window to Gilbert George Coventry who was rector of Woolstone for 37 years (1869-1906). He was related to the earls of Coventry of Croome Court in Worcestershire. The manor of Woolstone was part of the Croome Estate.
