Not a Penfold pillar box and Pittville Circus Road, Cheltenham
Pittville Circus Road runs away from the viewpoint with All Saints Road marked by the car behind the tree. According to English Heritage http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=475413 this should be a Penfold Victorian postbox. It patently isn't being instead a standard EIIR postbox. The correct location of the Penfold is here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1363465

Not a Penfold pillar box, Pittville Circus Road, Cheltenham
English Heritage believe this to be the location of a Penfold Victorian postbox http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=475413 Wrong! It's an Elizabeth II standard box of which there are thousands round the country. More here http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1569437 I have notified EH of the error.

All Saints Church (11) - information board, All Saints Road, Cheltenham
The information board has a couple of interesting references to the composer Gustav Holst, and his father, both of whom were associated with the church. The photograph on the board also gives some idea of the richness of the interior decoration, and the use of vivid colour, which is unusual in an Anglican church, even one which follows the Anglo-Catholic tradition, as this one does. Viewing this image at high resolution will make viewing easier. For links to other photos, please see:- Image
