The Salvation Army Community Church and Prithvi, Bath Road, Cheltenham
Prithvi, meaning Earth or the Earth goddess, is an Indian restaurant. An uninvestigated feature of interest here is the old brick wall which has two inscribed stones at its base. The top one appears to start 'J. Auddire enter into...', but the name produced no relevant leads, although it did exist on Jersey.

So Cheltenham does have a river!
The visitor to Cheltenham is gazing at the River Chelt from a footbridge in Sandford Park, one of the few places in the town where the river is not underground. Despite being largely unseen, the river poses a flood threat. In the summer of 2007, many areas of the town were seriously flooded.
