Old Milestone by the B4073, Painswick Road, Upton St Leonards
Metal plate attached to stone post by the B4073, in parish of Upton St Leonards (Stroud District), Painswick Road, junction with Rance Lane in front of Kings Head PH on verge, on East side of road. Glocester incised iron plate, erected by the Painswick turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-
