Barnwood Drive lies dormant awaiting the arrival of people who can afford to live there. In the meantime the area is becoming a haven for wildlife. Heaven forbid that anything rare should settle there!

Church of Latter Day Saints, Barnwood
Modern building with a good car park.
This church is on the site of a building called Lynthorpe, which was at some time a residence for patients at the nearby Barnwood House Hospital mental asylum.

Chalfont, Barnwood Road
Now a children's nursery, previously this house was a private residence in which lived a Mrs Riddiford.
She gave money and some of the grounds of this house to enable the construction of the adjoining 'Reading Room' in memory of her Husband George Francis.
