Artisan Butchery, Newent - no more
This lovely traditional small town business closed in September 2022.
Here's how the owner signed off on social media.
"It is with regret that we’ve taken the difficult decision to close the business with immediate effect.
The downturn in footfall post covid and horrific increases in energy and fuel costs has meant that it's no longer viable for us to continue trading.
Now, more than ever, it's so important to support local businesses. Businesses who are fighting for their lives, supporting local jobs, supporting local economies. Use 'em or lose 'em and #ShopLocal have never been more important phrases.
On behalf of myself and my fabulous team, I'd like to thank all our loyal customers who have supported us over the years. It has been our pleasure to serve you."
