Set back 10 metres from the west side of Broad Street. Newent's first non-conformist place of worship, the church opened in May 1846 as Newent Congregational Church, built to seat 300 worshippers. The church occupies the site of a former inn, originally named The Lower Horseshoe, late renamed The Swan.
