Former schoolhouse, Coleford

Metal plate was attached to stone post, in parish of Coleford (Forest of Dean District), at junction, on the side of road. Erected by the Forest of Dean Turnpike Trust in the 19th century.

Facade of Coleford Baptist Church
Viewed across Newland Street. The first record of Baptists worshipping in Coleford was in 1805.
This church was built in 1858, and extended in 1889 with the addition of school rooms.
