Lydney Station signal box
The signal box at Lydney station on the Gloucester - Newport line. This picture is unusual for one of mine, since the railway is actually in use, rather than closed long ago! I believe this signal box was demolished in 2012, which is a shame.

Arrival at Lydney Junction station
A train arrives at Lydney Junction, the southern terminus of the heritage Dean Forest Railway. It is hauled by 5521, a GWR 2-6-2 tank engine built at Swindon in 1927. Most of its working life was spent on branch lines in the West Country.
It is now owned by The Flour Mill http://theflourmill.com/index.html locomotive repair workshop located at Bream in the Forest of Dean.
