The 16XX were all actually built after Nationalisation. These are two of several shedded at Lydney for working on the lightly-laid Severn & Wye (GW & Midland) Joint system, nos. 1608 and 1627 (built 11/49 and 8/50, 9/63 and 6/64 respectively).
