Gloucester Yacht Club, Victoria Basin
The club occupy these premises adjacent to Victoria Basin, which is part of the Gloucester Docks complex. According to the club's website, they are a very well established club run for their members, by their members. Their facilities include their own clubhouse and their activities include formal and informal social events,training,competitions and cruises.

23-29 Commercial Road, Gloucester
By William Rees, 1847-48, the nearer nos. 27-29 built for dock merchants, the further no. 23 for a ship's chandler. Grade II listed.

Steps leading down to Gloucester Docks
Gloucester Docks was founded in 1580 by Queen Elizabeth I. Most of the converted warehouses in the background were built in the late 19th century, since the 1980s this area of Gloucester has undergone regeneration triggered by the council moving into one of the former warehouses. Victoria Dock can be seen in front of the warehouses.
The tall artwork is 'The Candle' by Wolfgang Buttress. The Candle refers to the poem 'Requiem' written by local poet Ivor Gurney (1890–1937) who played organ in the local chapel as well as drawing upon the industrial heritage of the area.

The Kyneburgh Tower, Kimbrose Square
The 16m (53ft) Kyneburgh Tower was installed on Kimbrose Square in 2011; it was sculpted by Tom Price. The tower represents an inverted well
The inspiration for the artwork is Gloucester's "patron saint" Kyneburgh. She was a Saxon princess who is believed to have been the sister of King Osric of Hwicce an Anglo-Saxon kingdom, roughly the area of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. Kyneburgh had been forced into an arranged marriage.
She fled from the marriage to Gloucester and was adopted by a baker, however his wife was not happy with this and killed her out of jealousy and threw her body down a well.
