The Tabernacle
The Tabernacle at the top of Tabernacle Pitch was built in 1851-2 in thirteenth century Gothic revival style, it played a notable part in Nonconformist worship until recent years. It currently serves as Wotton's Auction Rooms. (http://wotton-under-edge.com/buildings Wotton-under-Edge Town Council).

Wotton Auction Rooms, Wotton-under-Edge
Viewed along Tabernacle Pitch. The original Tabernacle was erected here in the 18th century.
In view is the 1850 rebuild, which remained a place of worship until 1970.
It has housed Wotton Auction Rooms since 1973. Grade II listed in 1984.
