It's not just the pubs that shut
Fusion in Station Road seems to have befallen the same fate as many a pub - boarded up and now with a Banksy-esque stencil on it. It was extensively refurbished in 2011 but has not survived the down-turn. See Image] for more scenes of disuse.

Former Fusion club to let in Gloucester
To Let boards are on the wall of 1 Station Road on the corner of Whitfield Street in late November 2014. Various reports in 2013 that the former Fusion club building could be converted to a fitness centre & spa, or reopen as a bar, appear to have come to nothing.

Ghostwriting on a Russell Street wall in Gloucester
Viewed from the corner of Nettleton Road looking towards the entrance to Roman Glass Ltd. Part of an old name on the wall has been obliterated. What remains legible is the letter A on the left and OBILE SERVICES on the right, so it probably used to show AUTOMOBILE SERVICES.

Twyver House, Bruton Way, Gloucester
By Richard Seifert & Partners, 1968. Cruciform-shaped and very distinctive in its colouring and banding. The pilotis are pure Seifert (Image]). Formerly occupied by the Land Registry, in 2018, bizarrely, it was sold to Torbay Council for £11.5m.
