Set back from the west side of Downton Road, the building dates from the late 18th century with later additions. Grade II listed in 1960 (as the Fleece Inn).

Not as close as it looks
The hillside has two sets of electricity transmission lines as well as a telecoms mast. The latter is not directly in contact with the lines, have no fear.
