Scottish Submarine Centre
Scotland’s only submarine museum and education centre occupies the building that was once King Street Hall, the annex of St Columba Church. (Now a cinema)
This Submarine Centre, in Helensburgh, is the home of the last x craft miniature submarine built by the Royal Navy. At 53ft in length and 36 tons, X-51 HMS Stickleback is one of four X-Class boats built between 1954 and 1955.

Now used by a firm of carers, this was originally the Rhu Parish Council Chambers and this is inscribed over the doorway. It dates from 1890 and is by Robert Wemyss. It was at one time used as Strathclyde Regional Council's Registry Office.
