Now used by a firm of carers, this was originally the Rhu Parish Council Chambers and this is inscribed over the doorway. It dates from 1890 and is by Robert Wemyss. It was at one time used as Strathclyde Regional Council's Registry Office. It is Category C listed https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB34806.
