The Counting House
See Image for an earlier view. The building is on Dumbarton's Heritage Trail. It is now a public house, but it was originally built (1897-98) for the British Linen Company Bank, whose name appears above the entrance (they later became known as the British Linen Bank).

St Augustine's Episcopal Church
There are several old church buildings in this part of the town. A site visitor informs "This is St Augustine's Episcopal Church, 1871-71, by Sir Robert Rowand Anderson. Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Art Nouveau architect, married Margaret MacDonald here in 1899."
