The development consists of 54 new homes, built very recently. The site is near the Forth and Clyde Canal, which is just to the right (north) of the cycle route and footpath from which the picture was taken.

Construction on Jellicoe Street
The area shown here being developed for housing is alongside Jellicoe Road, from French Street to Robert Street. Red sandstone tenements formerly stood there. The view is from beside another recent development, shown in Image, on the other side of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
