New flats nearing completion. These are not yet (January 2022) showing on the maps. There's plenty of space for more building beside them. The site was previously John Brown Shipbuilding Image

Remains of the former John Brown's shipyard
The shipyard closed over 30 years ago, and the site has been derelict for many years. Almost everything has now been flattened, but this facade, facing onto the A814, Glasgow Road, still remains - still advertising the company who demolished the rest.

Former site of John Brown's Shipyard
A very important place in history, every Cunard liner including the QE2 and Queen Mary were built here until 1967. Now being cleared for the regeneration of the Clydebank Waterfront.
