To the left you would come to Milngavie in about 8 miles. To the right is Croftamie in about a mile and a half. Back in the opposite direction in about two miles is Killearn.

Approaching Finnich Toll
The track ends not far beyond the gate. A toll-house used to stand there, at the junction; it is long gone, but the name Finnich Toll endures. The building on the left is at Craighat, formerly the location of a school, as shown on the second-edition OS map (c.1898).
