The new Oakburn Early Years Centre appears to be complete and will be soon be opening to provide early learning and childcare for up to 101 children aged 2-5 years. There is still some work to be done on the surrounding grounds.

This pedestrian gate and gateposts originally gave access St Joseph's Primary School, which opened in 1961 (and closed in 2018). A larger, vehicular gate was just to the right. It has clearly been out of use for a long time and is pretty much blocked by the electricity substation on the other side.
