The new Oakburn Early Years Centre is being built on the site of the former St Joseph’s Primary School on Craigdhu Road, Milngavie. When completed it will offer 94 places. It is one of three such centres being built in East Dunbartonshire as part of the Council's commitment to deliver on the Scottish Government's requirement for additional hours of early learning and childcare. See Image for a close view of the notice on the left. Most construction projects in Scotland were stopped due to the Coronaviris (Covid-19) pandemic. This means this project will be delayed by several months.
