About to start a round of golf
A couple of golfers are about to set off on a round of golf at Clober Golf Club. Having been closed for over two months due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, golf clubs in Scotland were able to re-open from 29 May, as long as they were able to provide a safe environment and observe social distancing rules. Although these individuals appear to be too close together, this is due to the effect of zooming in on the subject, rather than them being less than the permitted 2 metres apart.

Having been closed for over two months due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, golf clubs in Scotland were able to re-open from 29 May, as long as they were able to provide a safe environment and observe social distancing rules. Although not busy, the car park at Clober Golf Club indicated that a few golfers had decided to get back to the course.

Cloberfield Open Space
This is the northern end of the area. For a view in the opposite direction, see Image The structure visible in both pictures had a plaque on it, with the words "Allander Park & Cloberfield Open Space"; this open space is considered a part of Allander Park, which was designated a Centenary Field in 2014, commemorating those who died in the First World War. The Allander Water is ahead, behind the railings on the right. See a view south from there: Image As the 1:25000 map shows, there is, between the river and the photographer's position, a much narrower water channel, visible in the present picture.
